Your motivation to diet is the factor that will make or break your resolve to lose weight.  If you’ve tried to lose weight in the past you know the drill.  You start a healthy diet routine which involves going to a gym or exercising on your own.  You’re eating right, reading labels and sure enough you’re losing some weight.

Overcome Emotional Eating- How to Stop Binge Eating

There are methods to defeat and overcome emotional eating patterns and being very aware and conscious about your food choices is critical.  One of the best ways regarding how to stop binge eating is to think about slowing down while eating.  Focus on your food and that means not working on the computer or watching TV or reading a book.  You need 100% attention to concentrate on your sense of taste and to really enjoy the food.

If you’d like to lose weight and are overeating for a reason other than hunger, you probably need to overcome emotional eating patterns.  There is definitely help for binge eating.  If you are dealing with this problem, your solution to dealing with stress is generally eating.  People with eating disorders respond to loneliness, stress and depression by using food as a drug to deal with the problem.

My Wife is Fat, My Husband is Fat-What You Can Do, Part 3

Instead of saying my wife is fat or my husband is fat, be encouraging.  Sometimes weight gain can result from medical issues.  It’s important that they be checked by a doctor to make sure that the weight problem isn’t due to other possibly serious causes.  Encourage them to be checked out and go with them if necessary.

My wife is fat or my husband is fat.  Why?  If it was strictly a physical problem people could be educated as to how to eat and exercise and that would be it.  They would lose the weight and never gain it back.  But that’s not the reality.
