Dieting Tips- Changing Your Mindset, Part 3

One of the best diet tips I can share with you is not to focus your life on food.  The weight loss solutions we’re discussing here are permanent because it involves changing you and your attitudes.

When you meet with friends is it at a restaurant?  Do you have a meal or maybe just a piece of pie and coffee.  Either way that’s not the answer to how to lose weight and keep it off.  How about getting together with a friend or friends for a walk and then treating yourselves to a great salad afterwards?  Or just eat something really healthy at home before meeting others for a walk or some other form of exercise.

I strongly advise you to keep a journal.  A journal tracking you eating habits and exercise each day is one the best dieting tips I can give you.  By keeping this record you will know exactly what you are eating and how much you are exercising and this knowledge makes excuses for why you are overweight evaporate.    I also want you to record your feelings surrounding what you are eating and how much.  Do you feel guilty?  Proud?  Keep track of your thoughts regarding your diet.

You deserve to let yourself go now and then.  This means eating something that you are dying for.  You have to reward yourself now and then.  This is key for how to lose weight and keep it off.  You need to be happy while in this process or all of the weight loss solutions under the sun won’t work.

These dieting tips are meant to really stay in touch with how you feel about food and why you are eating.  I want you to feel proud of your progress and feel like you truly deserve a prize now and then.  Check out a very effective and healthy weight loss program here.
