This article is for those of you that want to lose weight and also want to be healthy.  That means no diet.  A natural makeover diet is simple.  There is no fad diet or popular diet of the month that I’ve seen that works.

The bottom line is that eating right is not magically done by a recent popular diet but by will power, your motivation and maybe a journal.  Here are some keys for a successful weight loss makeover.

•    The first event involves grabbing a garbage bag and tossing chips, cookies, candy, etc. away.  Replace them with whole wheat breads, crackers and pastas.  No more refined sugars and flour.  This might seem tough but I’m assuming you really are ready to do it this time.  The popular diets claim that you can continue with some bad habits and still lose.  Has it worked for you in the past?

•    Have healthy snacks handy.  Always have nuts, peanut butter, fat-free puddings and string cheese available.  Apples, Oranges and veggies are great also.

•    The natural makeover diet involves eating lean meats such as chicken, fish that is baked, lean ground beef, vegetables and whole wheat pastas and breads.

•    Try to be motivated always with your eye on the prize.  You have to be committed to changing your habits of snacking on sweets.  Always have healthy snacks with you in case you get hunger pangs and you’ll be less likely to make the wrong choices.

This weight loss makeover doesn’t have anything to do with strict diets that have certain do’s and don’ts.  These are rules for a lifetime of eating like slim and healthy people.  This natural makeover diet will work if you make the commitment to no more diets of the month and decide to make a change in how you see food and eat sensibly.
