Losing your belly fat may be right up their with singing in key as personal challenges.  I keep seeing diets advertised that say we can lose that belly fat without exercise.  You might lose some fat but your belly won’t look much better and isn’t that what’s important here.  Good health should be the number one reason to lose your belly but let’s face it, looking good motivates us.

There are methods to defeat and overcome emotional eating patterns and being very aware and conscious about your food choices is critical.  One of the best ways regarding how to stop binge eating is to think about slowing down while eating.  Focus on your food and that means not working on the computer or watching TV or reading a book.  You need 100% attention to concentrate on your sense of taste and to really enjoy the food.

Eat Good Carbs

In order to eat good carbs you need to know what they are.  Simple carbs are sugars.  White bread, candy, sodas all fit into the simple carb family.  When you ingest them, they break down almost instantly into glucose in your body.  This doesn’t sound like an effective weight loss program.

Successful Weight Loss-Keeping the Weight off, Part 2

Most successful weight loss programs have you start off with easy changes.  That’s because you need to do this slowly to be successful.  Start off by making a few relatively easy changes.  Be conscious of walking a little more.  It may even be walking around the room while watching the TV.  Cut out sodas and chips and concentrate on drinking 8-10 glasses of water every day.
