Most successful weight loss programs have you start off with easy changes.  That’s because you need to do this slowly to be successful.  Start off by making a few relatively easy changes.  Be conscious of walking a little more.  It may even be walking around the room while watching the TV.  Cut out sodas and chips and concentrate on drinking 8-10 glasses of water every day.

Keeping the weight off is long term and you can start by eating meals slowwwwwly.  This gives your food a chance to digest and let the brain know that you’re full or at least to the point of satisfaction.  Eating like its Thanksgiving and there’s no tomorrow is in the past.

A change of mindset can really help this process.  Watch your self talk and try to think about how good you will look and not that you won’t be having fats again.  The fact is you need fats in your diet and its okay in moderation.  Just don’t push moderation too far.  Successful weight loss will depend on questioning how badly you really want those chips and how will you feel afterwards.
