How to Lose Pounds in a Week

Notice the title doesn’t say lose 10 pounds in a week or whatever.  It says how to lose pounds in a week.  There is no one size fits all with dropping pounds.  If you weigh 300 pounds you can much easier drop 5 pounds than someone who weighs 140.  It’s all relative.  The bottom line is that no matter what you weigh you probably have a plan to lose your weight as fast as possible.

Remember to set definite goals on your weight loss path but make them reachable and realistic.  If you are very overweight, then set a goal to lose five pounds in your first 7 days.  You can do that.

Start an exercise routine either at home or at a gym.  Decide which works best for you.  Some people find that the discipline of going to the gym is effective for them while others can do weight training and aerobics regularly at home.

Of course any article on how to lose pounds in a week has to focus on your diet.  Exercise burns calories and is great for metabolizing fat but you have to eat healthier also.  Many regular meals every day of foods high in fibers are healthful, filling and critical for dropping pounds.  I recommend a journal in which you record what you are eating.  You may be surprised when you look back at old eating habits and days when you thought you were doing well.

Reward yourself if you are sticking to your exercise and eating plan.  Don’t tie the reward to weight loss.  Knowing how to lose pounds in a week is not the true goal here.  Being true to your plan and knowing in your heart that you are doing your best is your reward.  Dropping pounds will come naturally.  A great and highly recommended weight loss plan is Strip That Fat.
