Dieting Tips- Changing Your Mindset, Part 2

You want to get into the best shape possible and you’re not sure where to begin.  You read everything related to weight loss but you find yourself frustrated.  All of the dieting tips in the world won’t work until you change your thinking.

You must change the way you think and perceive things and your eating and exercise behaviors will change also.  Think it first, change it second.  Remember to visualize the “you” that really makes you happy.  Don’t think about losing 25 pounds or how difficult it is to exercise.  Remember to only see you as you want to be and feel how you will feel when you’ve achieved your goal.  The miracle is your mind will start to believe you and lead you in the right direction.

Try to really be like healthy, slim people.  They have no reasons why they won’t exercise or justify eating something that they really shouldn’t.  Soon healthy choices will come naturally and the old ways will seem less tempting.

You don’t need to read a list of dieting tips to understand the importance of exercise.  But let’s think of it in an enjoyable way and not drudgery and pain.  You need to meditate on this and discover within yourself what you can do that you will stick with and not make excuses after a week or two.  There is really no alternative here.  The bottom line is you must burn more calories than you take in.
