In order to eat good carbs you need to know what they are.  Simple carbs are sugars.  White bread, candy, sodas all fit into the simple carb family.  When you ingest them, they break down almost instantly into glucose in your body.  This doesn’t sound like an effective weight loss program.

Successful Weight Loss-Keeping the Weight off, Part 2

Most successful weight loss programs have you start off with easy changes.  That’s because you need to do this slowly to be successful.  Start off by making a few relatively easy changes.  Be conscious of walking a little more.  It may even be walking around the room while watching the TV.  Cut out sodas and chips and concentrate on drinking 8-10 glasses of water every day.

4 Great Ways to Lose Weight

Among the great ways to lose weight are throwing out or giving away all the high fat, high carb foods in our refrigerator and pantry.  We’re trying to burn fat and that means restricting our intake.  The first step is symbolic as well as having a purpose.  Get a big garbage bag and fill it with breads, chips, cakes, cookie, candy, sodas and pastas.  Ouch!  I know it hurts but you can’t be tempted if it’s not there. Weight Loss Goals- How to Share Them With Family and Friends, Part 2

You’ve decided that your weight loss goals can’t wait any longer but how to tell the family?  If you still don’t think you’re ready to share your weight loss planning, drop some clues.  Start with baby steps by not having mayonnaise like you normally do on your burger or have a banana instead of a helping of chips.  The idea is that the family will start noticing how you look and that your attitude is more positive and upbeat.
