Get Rid of Belly Fat and Look Great – 5 Keys For You to Get Rid of Belly Fat
If you’re over the age of 25 you probably would like to get rid of belly fat. I belong to a gym and I know that a slim midsection is pretty rare. You probably know why the belly showed up when it was least expected but not as sure as to how to deal with this intruder.
I’m certain you’ve heard about how junk food, lack of exercise, age and dare I say it, beer, join up to make things a little sloppy just above the belt. The question is what’s the best way to lose belly fat?
Well let’s reduce junk food and join a gym or at least exercise more. These are positive sentiments but will they really tone your midsection? Probably not.
Okay so what do you do?
When I set out to beat my tummy into shape I decided situps were the ticket. Did they work. Well kind of. I could feel my stomach was a little firmer but I still had a pretty thick outer layer of fat. I found that to get rid of belly fat was going to take a little more than situps and a few diet changes.
Here are 5 keys to for the best way to lose belly fat.
1. Do not eat or snack before going to bed. Whatever you are eating will convert to sugar and then to fat. This makes sense because the lack of activity while sleeping doesn’t burn energy and therefore is obviously not going to result in a slim midsection.
2. You need carbohydrates but stick to the “good carbs”. That means plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and wheat bread. The best way to lose belly fat is to stay away from refined flours such as cake, donuts, etc. Sad but true!
3. Here comes the “No junk food” part of how to tone your midsection. At least cut back as the high carbs and sugars result in an increase in fat buildup.
4. Exercise is one of the keys to success here. Don’t just exercise the abs. You need a full body program. Join a gym or do it at home. Do whatever works for you.
5. Reduce alcohol. The beer belly thing is not a joke. People that are slim with a large tummy are probably drinking too much and it’s not a good look.
There is no single best way to lose belly fat. It’s a lifestyle change involving diet, habits and exercise. You can get rid of belly fat but it does take dedication.
