Low Fat Living-Your New Lifestyle, Part 2

Low fat living does require a change of mindset but if you’re truly motivated to look and feel better, it’s a piece of cake.  Did I say that?  I meant a small bowl of low fat yogurt.  Low calorie living will become not a diet but the way you eat every day without even being conscious of a change.  These are a few things you can do to kick off your new lifestyle.

Dump all the high fat foods from your cupboards and refrigerator.  You don’t want to have to come face to face with these guys every day.  Get into the habit of reading labels.  Pay attention to how high sugar comes up in the list of ingredients.  The higher it is the more sugar in the ingredients.

Make an overall eating plan for the week and stick to it.  Take a list to the store and only buy what is on the list.  Remember to buy lots of fruits and eat fruit before and after each meal.  This will take away some of your appetite so that you eat smaller portions and dessert won’t even be an issue.

Remember low fat living means healthy living and this involves drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day.  It super healthy and will actually give you a full feeling.  Low calorie living in this case is no calories.

Pangs of hunger?  Take a walk, get on a bike or put on an exercise tape.  Be kind to yourself.

Low fat living is a makeover of sorts.  A change of mindset will result in a change in the physical and mental you.
