Weight Loss Goals- How to Share Them With Family and Friends, Part 2
You’ve decided that your weight loss goals can’t wait any longer but how to tell the family? If you still don’t think you’re ready to share your weight loss planning, drop some clues. Start with baby steps by not having mayonnaise like you normally do on your burger or have a banana instead of a helping of chips. The idea is that the family will start noticing how you look and that your attitude is more positive and upbeat.
Isn’t it strange to think that you might feel uncomfortable about family knowing that you are eating less and healthier and starting a regular exercise routine. Don’t feel that way! Ask them to help you with your weight loss goals and go ahead and share them. You’ll feel better.
If you’re a parent be a role model to your kids. Involve them in weight loss planning and how they might help you. If they see you sticking to a really healthy and serious weight loss campaign, you will be proving to them that you can stick to a plan and that crash diets are not the way to go. You are proving to them that it can be done!
Your weight loss goals should be celebrated and you should be congratulated. Write down what you want to say to your family or friends, take a deep breath and just go do it. The truth will set you free and you’ll feel even better.
