Diet and Restaurants- They Can Go Together

If you go out to eat quite often, how can you avoid fatty, unhealthy eating?  The good news is a diet and restaurants can co-exist.

You will have to be conscious of combining calories and restaurants.  They don’t necessarily have to go together.  You can save an easy 1000 calories by just being conscious of a few things that are commonplace in restaurants.  Pass on the rolls with butter or oil.  You don’t need fries or oily dressing on your salad.  No creamy desserts or cream in your coffee.  By avoiding these you can make a huge difference.  1000 calories difference.

Combining a good diet and restaurants also means not having fried foods, bunches of cheese or heavy sauces.  Request extra veggies instead of fries or potatoes and make sure your meat is grilled.  High calories and restaurants don’t have to work against you.

Instead of a 3 course meal, how about just the main course.  Eat slowly, drink water and you’ll probably find that you’re full.  You’ll leave feeling full but not bloated and uncomfortable.

Best choices for a starter are vegetables, a light soup and a salad with vinegar rather than the usual heavy dressing.  Look for options on the menu which are lower in calories.

I’ll have some more tips for putting diet and restaurants together soon.  Just remember that high calories and restaurants are something you have power to avoid.  Please click here to learn about an extremely effective diet plan.
