Tips for Overall Weight Loss- Part 3

These tips for overall weight loss don’t involve extreme dieting.  My priority here is not only to see you lose weight but see you as a healthy and slim person.

•    I want you to prepare your own food and make eating out a special treat.  When you prepare your own meals and snacks you know exactly the ingredients and portions that you need.  You’ll save money and eat much healthier.  This is especially true if you are a fast food afficianado.

•    Having a really top drawer set of containers for food storage is cheap and will lead indirectly to overall weight loss.  You can store your fruits and vegetables and have have containers to take with you when you leave the house for outings or for the day.  If you go to work you’ll have your lunch and snacks ready to go with the correct portions.

•    Don’t forget the importance of proteins.  White meats and fish are lower in calories and they are harder for the body to break down.  This means the body is burning more calories digesting them and this is a good thing.

•    Eat slowly.  Extreme dieting can’t compare with the common sense of chewing slowly and savoring your food.  You will really enjoy your meals and snacks more and have a greater idea of when you’re full.  If you are in the habit of eating quickly you may be full and not notice until it’s too late.

I hope these tips for overall weight loss help you.  I don’t recommend any type of extreme dieting and highly recommend this program in combination with the above tips.
